[1] The matter is taken up for hearing through video conference due to COVID-19 situation.

[2] After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present petition. However, a request is made that the petitioner would surrender within 10 days from today and apply for regular bail, his application be taken up expeditiously. [3] The petition is disposed of.

[4] In case the petitioner surrenders within 10 days from today and applies for regular bail, the Court concerned shall take up the bail application within 2 days and decide it as expeditiously as possible. [AVNEESH JHINGAN] JUDGE 22nd July, 2021
