The present petition has been preferred under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus for directing respondent No.1 to 3, to immediately stop and restrain respondents No.4 to 7 from carrying out illegal slaughtering of buffaloes. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioners, at the very outset, submits that for redressal of their grievance, the petitioners have already moved representation dated 19.12.2025 (Annexure P-5) before the District Commissioner, Nuh, District Haryana, but till date no action thereon has been taken. She further submits that at this stage, for the purpose of the instant petition, the petitioners would be satisfied if appropriate directions are given to respondent No.2 to consider and pass an appropriate speaking order on the representation of the petitioners dated 19.12.2025 (Annexure P-5) in a time bound manner.

Learned State counsel submits that the aforesaid representation will be considered in accordance with law. 4.
In view of above, without commenting on the merits of the case and considering the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioners, the petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2- The Deputy Commissioner, Nuh, District Mewat, Haryana, to decide the representation dated 19.12.2025 (Annexures P-5) moved by the petitioners, in accordance with law by passing a speaking order, within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.
Copy of the order so passed be also communicated to the petitioners as well.
