ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.68 dated 01.07.2020, under Section 420 IPC and Section 13 of Punjab Prevention of Human Smuggling Act, 2012 registered at Police Station Ghanieke Bangar, District Gurdaspur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to order dated 17.08.2020, the petitioner has joined the investigation and has fully cooperated in the same.

Learned State Counsel, per his instructions from ASI Gurminder Singh, does not controvert the fact that petitioner has joined the investigation and, therefore, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no more required.

In view of the above, since custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no more required and he has already joined the investigation and cooperated with the investigating officer, the petition is allowed. Order dated 17.08.2020 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the petitioner's complying with provisions under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
