RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Through this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for grant of regular bail to petitioner-Rajuddin @ Raju, in case FIR No. 143 dated 15.07.2018 registered under Sections 3, 8, 13(I) and (III) of the Haryana Gauvansh Sanrakshan and Gausamvardhan Act, 2015 at Police Station Bahin, District Palwal.

According to the prosecution, the petitioner is indulged in illegal trade of cow slaughtering. On 15.07.2018, the petitioner fled away from his house leaving 145 Kgs of cow skin in a wooden box. Learned counsel inter alia contends that out of total three accused, two were found innocent during investigation. Petitioner is in custody since 06.08.2018. Framing of charge and conclusion of trial may take a long time. On the other hand, learned State counsel vehemently opposed the above submission of learned counsel for the petitioner. Considering overall facts and circumstances, but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the petition is allowed. Consequently, petitioner-Rajuddin @ Raju, is ordered to be released on bail pending trial, on his furnishing adequate bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of trial Court/Duty Magistrate, concerned.
