The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking direction to respondent No. 2District Registrar Firms and Societies to comply with orders dated 03.06.2025 (Annexure P-1) and 10.06.2025 (Annexure P-2) and initiate inquiry into affairs of respondent-Society. They are further seeking direction to respondents to conduct inquiry in a time bound manner. 2.
As per petition, the petitioners are members of Heritage Civil Residents Welfare Association (Regd.). The management of the Society asked them to pay charges with respect to replacement of lifts. They found that Society is not demanding charges as per Bye-Laws. They approached District Registrar who directed the Society to collect charges on the basis of per square foot pro rata basis. The Society did not comply with orders of SUDEEPAK KUMAR 2026.04.17 17:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
-2District Registrar who passed orders dated 03.06.2025 and 10.06.2025 directing inquiry into the affairs of the Society. An appeal against aforesaid orders was filed which was dismissed vide order dated 06.02.2026 by State Registrar. The management of the society is harassing the petitioners but official respondents are not conducting inquiry as per aforesaid orders. 3.
Learned State counsel on instructions from Mr. Amit Maan, H.C.S., District Registrar, Gurugram submits that competent authority would conclude inquiry within six weeks from today. 4.
Learned counsel for the petitioners agrees to the aforesaid statement.

In the wake of statement of both sides, the petition stands disposed of.
