SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No.4 to 8, parents and relatives of petitioner No.1. Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 09.01.2017 (Annexure P/5) made by the petitioners. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1-Maveena Taheem is 05.09.1994 as per copy of Matriculation Examination Certificate (Annexure P/1) and that of petitioner No.2-Saleem Khan is 09.08.1992 as per copy of Aadhaar Card (Annexure P/2). They got married on 09.01.2017 vide Nikahnama (Annexure P-3) Photographs of marriage are Annexure P/4.

In view of the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, but without expressing any opinion on the validity of marriage of petitioners, petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2Sachin Mehta 2017.01.11 16:10 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document HIGH COURT, CHANDIGARH
