The petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)-Sanskrit, w.e.f. 6.5.2016, the date from which her juniors were promoted with all consequential benefits. 2.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner will be satisfied in case the first respondent is directed to consider and decide her pending legal notice, dated 6.12.2023, Annexure P-3, in a specified time.

Learned State counsel accepts notice and submits that the pending legal notice will be decided by the first respondent/Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, within a period of three months from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order. 5.

In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, learned counsel for the petitioner has no objection to the petition being disposed of in terms thereof.
