(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner, seeks permission to withdraw the present petition in light of dicta of judgment of this Court in 'Jaspal Kaur @ Pinki and another versus State of Punjab and others' passed in CRM-M-19553 of 2023 with liberty to file appropriate petition/proceedings.

Permission is granted. The present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has further submitted that an interim stay order was granted by this Court on 29.10.2018 which is still in vogue. Hence, learned counsel for the petitioner has prayed that the said order be extended for a period of further two weeks. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and upon perusal of the record, this Court finds that it would be expedient in the interest of PARVINDER SINGH 2024.04.30 16:02 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document chandigarh
