(Oral) This petition has been filed seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the advertisement No.01/2019, Annexure P-7, issued on 08.03.2019 as the backlog vacancies of forty posts of Assistant Professor (College Cadre) which remained unfilled in the previous selection for the Physically Handicapped Category have not been included therein as 'Backlog Reserved Vacancy'.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that in the short reply, dated 28.12.2021, filed on behalf of respondent No.2, it has been stated that the department cannot utilize these posts for other purposes and has undertaken that the remaining unfilled posts of earlier recommendations will be sent to the Commission/HPSC as and when fresh requisition will be PAYAL 2023.09.13 18:16 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
