Petitioner-Amar Nath, has filed instant petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to produce Satyam before the Court. There is another prayer for issuance of direction to respondents No. 2 to 4 for registration of FIR against unknown persons/police officials (respondent No. 2) involved in illegal detention/abduction of the detenue. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner himself points out that alleged detenue has now been released and presently sitting in the Court room, therefore, the first prayer of the petitioner for issuance of direction to release him may be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
