Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of directions to respondents No. 1 to 4 to protect their life and liberty from the hands of respondent No. 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that marriage of the petitioners was solemnized on 12.2.2015. Certificate (Annexure P-3) in this regard has been issued by Bhartiya Balmik Dharam Samaj (Regd. Bharat), Bhavadhas. Photographs of marriage ceremony are annexed as Annexure P-4. He has further submitted that the petitioners have moved a representation to Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar (Rural)-respondent No. 2 (Annexure P-5) but no action has been taken so far.
