Prayer in the present petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in a case FIR No.78 dated 25.03.2023 under Sections 323, 324, 326, 341, 506, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station Patran, District Patiala. 2.

Vide order dated 12.05.2023 while granting interim protection, the petitioner was directed to join investigation. 3.

Status report by way of an affidavit of Sh.Daljit Singh Virk, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Patran, District Patiala, on behalf of the respondent-State, has been filed in the Registry which is taken on record.

The learned State counsel, on instructions from HC Gursewak Singh, has affirmed the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his further investigation in the present case is not required.

In view of the above, interim order dated 12.05.2023 is made absolute subject to compliance of conditions as envisaged under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.

The present petition stands disposed off.
