ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of direction to respondents No.1 to 4 to register an FIR against respondents No.5 to 7 and not to harass the petitioner.

Reply by way of an affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Samalkha, Panipat filed in the Court is taken on record. As per this affidavit, an enquiry of the complaints made by the petitioner was conducted and it is found that the dispute between the petitioner and respondents No.5 to 7 is a civil dispute and the same is pending before the Additional District Judge, Panipat.

With regard to the allegation of harassment by the police, it is stated in the affidavit that during the enquiry, no offence of any threat, harm or detention of the petitioner or his family members by the police was found to be made out. The report of the SHO, P.S. Samalkha in this regard is attached as Annexure R4 with the aforesaid affidavit. In view of the above, the petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous.
