Mr. CM Munjal, Advocate, for the petitioner Mr. Gurveer Sidhu, AAG, Punjab, for the respondent Fateh Deep Singh, J. (Oral) The allegations against petitioner-husband Bakhshish Singh in this petition under section 439 Cr.P.C. are that on account of matrimonial dispute between him and the complainant-wife Navpreet Kaur alias Baljinder Kaur, who tried to commit suicide by consuming spray, leading to registration of the present case.

The contention of Mr. CM Munjal that the parties have effected compromise at the behest of the family friends and relations and has placed on record photostat copy of the same. Learned State counsel has also placed on record verification report in compliance with orders dated 9.5.2016 to this effect. Counsel for the complainant Mr. Abhishek Bhateja has readily accepted this contention and has vouched for this fact. It is a pure matrimonial dispute and the couple, as has been stated, has started living together and resolved their dispute.
