The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered at the instance of Karaj Singh alleging that he has been duped by one Sukhdev Singh in connivance with the petitioner and Dalbir singh. Sukhdev Singh had allegedly shown the land of petitioner and persuaded the complainant to enter into an agreement of sale. The petitioner has not been attributed any role of cheating the complainant.

As per the instructions of ASI Balbir Singh, the petitioner has already joined the investigation. It does not appear to be a case of custodial interrogation so far as the petitioner is concerned. The petition is allowed and it is ordered that in case of arrest of the petitioner, he will be released on bail to the satisfaction of the arresting officer subject to the condition that the petitioner will join the investigation as and when required by the police and will not tamper with evidence or hamper the investigation.
