(ORAL) Prayer in this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 121 dated 06.09.2021 registered under Sections 354 IPC r/w Section 8 of POCSO Act, 2012 at Police Station Daba, Ludhiana-Police Commissionerate. Custody certificate dated 21.05.2024 filed in Court today is taken on record, as per which, the petitioner has undergone the custody period of 07 months and 02 days as an undertrial. After arguing for sometime, when this Court is not inclined to accord the benefit of regular bail to the petitioner; learned counsel submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition, as not pressed.
