(Oral) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is for quashing of FIR No.80 dated 31.07.2017 under Sections 363 and 366 IPC registered at Police Station Sadar Moga, District Moga along with all subsequent proceedings emanating therefrom on the basis of compromise. Vide order dated 26.08.2019, the parties were directed to appear before the Illaqa Magistrate/trial Court for recording their respective statements with regard to compromise/settlement, on 23.09.2019. As per communication dated 08.11.2019 received from Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Moga, the parties did not appear before the trial Court on 23.09.2019 to get their statements recorded. Criminal Misc. No. M-22483 of 2019 -2In view of the aforesaid report, since the parties have not appeared before the trial Court, this Court doubts the very compromise, leaving no other option but to dismiss the present petition. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed at this stage. However, in case the parties find that the matter has been compromised, they would be at liberty to seek revival of this petition within one month from today.
