ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.166 dated 10.07.2020, under Sections 323, 324, 506, 148, 149 of IPC (Section 326 IPC added later on), registered at Police Station Tanda, District Hoshiarpur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to order dated 17.08.2020, the petitioner has joined the investigation and has fully cooperated in the same.

Learned State counsel, per his instructions from ASI Gurmeet Singh, does not controvert the fact that petitioner has joined the investigation and, therefore, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no more required. 4.

In view of the above, since custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no more required and he has already joined the investigation and cooperated with the investigating officer, the petition is allowed. Order dated 17.08.2020 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the petitioner's complying with provisions under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
