    Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, which is also pending in the Courts at Panchkula and the respondent is making appearance in the same.

     Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act was filed, as a counter-blast to the divorce petition. Also, he submits that the applicant is making appearance in the divorce petition and as such, can easily defend the same, from a distance of about 50 kilometres, from the place of her residence. In view of the aforesaid fact situation and also considering the position of law about preference to be given to the convenience of the wife in the transfer applications relating to the matrimonial dispute, the transfer application is allowed and
