(ORAL) Through instant petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in a case arising from FIR No.146 dated 06.07.2018 registered under Section 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act at Police Station Civil Lines, Bathinda, District Bathinda.

According to the prosecution, on 06.07.2018, petitioner was apprehended with conscious possession of 14 vials of ONEREX and 600 tablets of CALMIDOL SR.

Since recovery effected from the petitioner falls under the commercial category, therefore, he does not deserve the concession of bail. It is pertinent to mention here that menace of trading narcotic substance has spread over in the entire State of Punjab speedily in the recent past and created alarming situation.
