(Oral) This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No.216 dated 21.09.2017 under Sections 323, 324, 504, 148, 149 and 34 IPC (Section 326 added later on), at Police Station Sadar Jalandhar, District Jalandhar.

Learned counsel for the State on instructions from H.C. Gurdial Singh, submits that pursuant to order dated December 18, 2017, petitioner has joined investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation. In view of the above, order dated December 18, 2017, is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
