(ORAL) Counsel for the petitioner argues that against the impugned order dated 24.08.2016 (Annexure P-9), petitioner had filed an appeal dated 06.02.2017 (Annexure P-10), which is still pending with the respondent authorities and at this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied in case the competent authority of the respondent(s)-State be directed to decide the said appeal in a time bound manner. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioner in the appeal, the respondent authorities are directed to decide the appeal dated 06.02.2017 (P-10) within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

Present writ petition stands disposed of.
