**** RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.108 dated 31.05.2015, under Sections 279, 337 and 338 IPC, Police Station Zirakpur, District Mohali (SAS Nagar) Punjab (P-1) along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise.

Pursuant to orders dated 11.12.2017, 23.05.2018 and 01.08.2018 of this Court, parties appeared before the trial Court only on 08.08.2018 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Dera Bassi has submitted her report vide letter bearing No.829 dated 28.08.2018 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, SAS Nagar, vide Endst. No.8881 dated 31.08.2018.

CRM-M-46994 of 2017 --2-- According to the report, ld. Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Dera Bassi, is satisfied that compromise is genuine, voluntary and without any undue pressure or threat from anyone. No accused has been declared proclaimed offender.

Considering the report of learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Dera Bassi, dated 28.08.2018 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid FIR No.108 dated 31.05.2015 along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed qua the petitioner only.

Disposed of accordingly.
