This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioners vide FIR No. 5 dated 08.01.2015 under Sections 451, 323, 448, 147, 149, 427 IPC and sections 452 IPC and section 3/4 of the Scheduled Castes and Schedules Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) added later on at Police Station City Barnala, district Barnala.

Learned counsel for the State (on instructions from ASI Ajaib Singh, who is present in court) submits that pursuant to order dated 02.03.2015, petitioners have joined the investigation and are no longer required for custodial interrogation. In view of the above, order dated 02.03.2015 is made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
