versus State of Punjab
...Respondent
Coram:
Hon'ble Mr. Justice Fateh Deep Singh
Present:
Mr. Simranjit Singh, Advocate, for the petitioner Mr. CS Brar, DAG, Punjab Fateh Deep Singh,J.
This is regular bail petition under section 439 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No. 100 dated 27.09.2014 under sections 307,309, 506, 120-B of IPC and sections 25, 54, 59 of Arms Act, Police Station Cheema, District Sangrur.
The allegations against the present petition Randhir Singh alias Bablu are that prior to the actual occurrence, he was also one of the person who has threatened the victim. Being a case where no definite role has been attributed to the petitioner and the very applicability of section 307 IPC is debatable and the trial is not likely to be concluded in near future, the petitioner deserves the concession of regular bail. In view of the aforesaid without commenting anything on merits of the case, the present petition is allowed. Petitioner is ordered to be released on bail to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, Sangrur.
