*** Learned State counsel has submitted that the police has filed untraced report in the matter and the petitioner is not required by the police in connection with the investigation. He has further stated that if at any stage, the petitioner is required to be arrested by the local police in this case then seven days advance notice would be given to him. He has made this statement on instructions from ASI Ram Babu.
Under the circumstances, the petition is dismissed as infructuous with the observation that as per statement of the State counsel, in case the petitioner is required to be arrested in this case at any stage as a result of further investigation, then seven days advance notice would be issued to him by the local police.
