Mr. Vipin Mahajn, Advocate for the complainant. Through the instant petition, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No.13 dated 06.02.2015, registered under Sections 4980A and 34 IPC at Police Station Sadar Gurdaspur, District Gurdaspur.
The petitioner had been directed to join the investigation in March, 2015. He had joined the investigation and interim anticipatory bail was allowed to him.
The parties were sent for mediation on a number of occasions to explore the possibility of settlement. Today also both the parties had appeared and they sat for some time. Learned State counsel on instructions has stated that the petitioner has joined the investigation.
Looking to all these circumstances, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the petition is allowed and order dated 09.03.2015 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 Sub Section 2 Clauses (i)(ii) and (iii) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
