The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 24.12.2025 passed by this Court in CRWP-14019-2025, whereby respondent was directed to consider and decide the representation dated 28.11.2025 filed by the petitioner. 2.

Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Amtiaz Singh Sandhu, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and contends that a speaking order dated 16.03.2026 has been passed by the Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur, after considering the case of the petitioner. He has produced a copy of the said speaking order dated 16.03.2026 in the Court. The same is taken on record. A copy thereof has been given to learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the above, since order dated 24.12.2025 passed by this Court in CRWP-14019-2025, has been complied with, therefore, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged. 5.

Needless to say that the petitioner is at liberty to avail remedy as is available to him in accordance with law to challenge the said speaking order dated 16.03.2026.
