This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of BNSS (482 Cr.P.C) seeking issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus restraining the police authorities in conducting raids at the residential premises of the petitioners without registration of any FIR in violation of Articles 21 and 22 of the Constitution of India and settled principles of criminal jurisprudence.

Mr. P.S. Pandher, learned Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. He submits that the petitioners are required to join the preliminary investigation in a complaint made by one Jashandeep Singh. However, the petitioners, despite cooperating with the investigation, have approached this Court by way of the present petition. 5.
I have heard the submissions made by learned State counsel and have perused the record.

In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, no further orders are required to be passed in the present case. Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of.
