(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.0078 dated 28.07.2018 registered under Sections 279/337/338/427 IPC at Police Station Cantt Jalandhar, District Jalandhar, and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 17.10.2018 (Annexure P-2), effected in between the parties.
Pursuant to orders dated 09.04.2019, of this Court, the parties appeared before the Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Jalandhar, on 08.05.2019 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Jalandhar,has submitted his report along with copies of statements of the parties vide letter No.130 dated 16.05.2019, duly forwarded by the learned District and Sessions Judge, Jalandhar, vide RAVINDER SINGH 2021.11.10 13:57 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

According to the report, learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Jalandhar, is satisfied that statements of the parties are not result of any pressure or coercion etc. in any manner and same is genuine and valid. There is only one accused and no accused person has been declared as proclaimed offender by the Court. Considering the report of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Jalandhar, and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony between the parties, aforesaid FIR No.0078 dated 28.07.2018 (Annexure P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed, qua the petitioner only.
Disposed of accordingly.
