This petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS read as Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking directions to official respondents No. 2 to take the decision on the representation filed by the petitioner dated 07.02.2026 and take the appropriate action in accordance with law with a further prayer to direct respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect the life and property of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has preferred a representation dated 07.02.2026 (Annexure P-4) to respondent respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, District Bathinda but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel submits that he would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, District Bathinda to look into his representation and take appropriate steps at the earliest.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, District Bathinda to consider and decide the representation representation dated 07.02.2026 (Annexure P-4) of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass an appropriate order.
