Crl. Misc. No. M-47069 of 2017 (O&M) [ 2 ] Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
It is not in dispute that the petitioner submitted a complaint before the Punjab State Commission for NRIs alleging that FIR No. 0003 dated 02.03.2017 was registered on the basis of her allegations but her inlaws were not being proceeded against. It is further not in dispute that the Punjab State Commission for NRIs is seized of the matter. It is observed in order dated 11.12.2017 that as per report dated 05.12.2017 submitted before the Commission by AIG, Patiala, in-laws of the complainant are now being proceeded against in the above said FIR and further investigation is in progress. The matter is listed before the Commission on 23.01.2018. At this stage, no orders are called for in exercise of jurisdiction under Section 482 Cr.P.C. Needless to say the petitioner is at liberty to pursue the matter before the Commission and in case her grievance is not redressed she may avail of any remedy/remedies as may be available to her at that stage.
Petition is disposed of.
