MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (Oral) The present petition has been filed for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing respondent No.2 to renew the Arms license of the petitioner as per section 15 (3) of the Arms Act 1959 and Rule 54 of Arms Act Rules 1962.

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Ayush Sarna, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner at the outset submits that he would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.2 for taking a decision on the representation dated 11.03.2020 (Annexure P14) submitted by the petitioner.
