)/ Petition herein, inter alia, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent department to step up the pay of the petitioners at par with their junior i.e. respondent No.5, claiming pay parity. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that qua their aforesaid grievance, petitioners caused issuance of a legal notice dated 12.05.2022 (Annexure P-13) the same has not been adverted by the respondents till date. Hence, the instant petition.

On advance service, learned State counsel appears and submits that a decision will be taken by competent authority, either way, on the pending legal notice dated 12.05.2022 (Annexure P-13) by passing a speaking order. 4.

Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, the instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to look into the legal notice dated 12.05.2022 (Annexure P-13) of the petitioners and pass an administrative order, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. 7.
