Through this writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India prayer has been made for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to count the entire period of work-charge service rendered by the petitioner with respondents from 01.05.1977 to 12.02.1981 for the purpose of pensionary benefits in view of instructions issued by the Government from time to time and in view of judgments of the Hon'ble Supreme Court and this Court. Notice of motion.

Mr. T.P.S. Chawla, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
