(ORAL) The claim of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that after he was acquitted on 14.07.2014 in FIR No.75 dated 17.11.2005, there is no other impediment in the release of his pensionary benefits as well as ACP benefits, but the same have not been released so far by the respondents and further, the benefits of the military service, which he had rendered prior to joining the jail department has also not been taken into account for computing the qualifying service. Counsel for the petitioner states that for the relief which has been sought in the present writ petition, petitioner has served the respondents with a legal notice dated 12.11.2018 (Annexure P-5), which is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a time bound direction is issued to the respondents to decide the said legal notice.
