(ORAL) The petitioner was dismissed from Government service on 30.03.1989 on his conviction by the competent Court for the offences under the Prevention of Corruption Act. In view of the Rule 2.5 of the Punjab Civil Services, Volume II, no pension is to be granted to an employee who has been dismissed from service. Earlier the petitioner filed CWP No.4296 of 2014 claiming compassionate pension and his writ was disposed of by the High Court. In view of the directions issued by the High Court vide order dated 05.08.2022, the petitioner was heard in person wherein the petitioner has admitted that his appeal against conviction in the corruption case was dismissed by the High Court as well as by the Hon'ble Apex Court. 2023:PHHC:074298 CWP No.11203 of 2023 -2Evidently the petitioner was dismissed from service for accepting illegal gratification. No such ground exists for grant of any such consideration holding a dismissed Government employee to be entitled for any compassionate allowances.

No ground is made out to interfere in the petition. Dismissed.
