(Oral) This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No.116 dated 26.11.2017 under Sections 61/1/14 of Excise Act, at Police Station Sadar Sangrur, District Sangrur. Learned counsel for the State on instructions from ASI Pawan Kumar submits that pursuant to order dated December 12, 2017, petitioner has joined investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation. In view of the above, order dated December 12, 2017, is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
