1. The petitioner, who is stated to be a citizen of Germany and who is currently visiting India for about 3 months to see his aged father, has approached this Court seeking issuance of directions to official respondents to protect his life and liberty as he apprehends threat to the same at the hands of private respondents No.6 and 7 who want to forcibly grab the property of the petitioner and of his father.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, but without commenting anything as regards the merits of the assertions made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Senior MOHAN SINGH 2023.05.16 15:54 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRWP-4703-2023 (O&M) ( 2 ) 2023:PHHC:070412 Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala, District Kapurthala, to get the representation dated 27.4.2023 (Annexure P-3) examined qua the limited extent of the alleged threat perception of the petitioner in accordance with law. In case, it is found that there is genuine threat to life and liberty of the petitioner, then necessary steps warranted under law be taken thereupon.
