(ORAL) The petitioner has filed this petition alleging that he has been denied admission in the M.Sc. Child Health (Pediatric) Nursing Course - 2021 only on the ground that the certificate of registration as Nurse and Midwife issued to him by the Rajasthan Nursing Council had lapsed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the certificate issued by the Rajasthan Nursing Council has been renewed from time to time and at the time when the respondent-authorities took up the process of scrutiny, the petitioner had applied for extending the validity of the certificate with the authorities of Rajasthan which has subsequently during the pendency of this writ petition extended the validity of the certificate from the retrospective date. In view of the aforesaid circumstances, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent-authorities may be directed to consider his representation dated 12.07.

2021 (Annexure P-11) as well as an additional representation that he would file bringing on record the subsequently issued certificate by the Rajasthan Nursing Council for the purpose of granting him admission in the M.Sc. Child Health (Pediatric) Nursing Course - 2021. Learned counsel for respondents No. 1 to 3 on advance copy submits that in case the petitioner does so immediately, the authorities concerned would look into the representation of the petitioner and take a decision thereon before the last date of admission i.e. 31.07.2021. CWP-13615-2021 (O&M) In view of the submission and prayer of learned counsel for the petitioner and the statement made by learned counsel for respondents No. 1 to 3, we do not find any reason to entertain the present petition which is disposed of. It is made clear that as this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case, the respondent-authorities would be at liberty to examine the representation dated 12.07.2021 (Annexure P-11) filed by the petitioner and take a decision thereon in accordance with law as stated before this Court i.e. before the last date of admission.
