Petitioners seek protection of their life and liberty as they apprehend danger at the hands of respondents No. 4 to 6 and other relatives because they live together against the wishes of said respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioners identifies the petitioners, who are present in Court today. It is contended that the petitioners are major, date of birth of petitioner No. 1 being 09.07.1994 and year of birth of petitioner No. 2 being 1994, respectively. Aadhar cards of both the petitioners are appended with the petition as Annexures P1 and P2, respectively. It is submitted that petitioners are living together as per their own wish. Petitioners, it is stated, submitted representation dated 30.05.2022 (Annexure P3) to respondent No.2 i.e., the Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, for redressal of their grievance but no action has been taken thereon.

Criminal Writ Petition No.5515 of 2022 -2Without commenting upon the age of the petitioners and genuineness of the certificates/documents appended with the petition, respondent No.2 - Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar is directed to look into representation dated 30.05.2022 (Annexure P3) submitted by the petitioners and take appropriate action if any/as may be required, keeping in view the threat perception to the petitioners.

Petition is disposed of accordingly.
