The present petition has been filed under Section 482 read with Section 483 CrPC for quashing of the order dated 11.09.2017 passed by the Inspector General of Police, Patiala whereby the investigation of the case FIR No.15 dated 18.01.2016 under Sections 498-A and 406 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station City Sangrur, District Sangrur was transferred from Sangrur to Barnala.

Learned State counsel has pointed out that the present petition has since been rendered infructuous inasmuch as the aforesaid FIR along with all consequential proceedings itself stands quashed by this Court vide order dated 16.03.2020 passed in CRM-M-1352-2020. 3.

Dismissed as having been rendered infructuous. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
