***** ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petition herein, inter alia, is for issuance of awrit in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to reinstate the petitioner being eligible candidate under ESP quota on Group D post in view of the information supplied by the respondent Sports Department under RTI Act 2005 (Annexure P-14).

I have heard learned counsel for parties and gone through the case file.

Learned State counsel relies on para 7 of the reply filed on behalf of respondent No.1, 3 and 4, which is reproduced hereinbelow for ready reference:- "7. x-x-x-x-x-The petitioner again applied for issuance of Sports Gradation Certificate for his achievement i.e. 3rd position in Haryana State Karate Championship 2010 held at K.S.Convent School, Kurukshetra from 03.07.2010 to 04.07.2010 in Senior Team Kata (Annexure P-3) in the office of respondent No.4 on 05.01.2021. The respondent No.4 dated 06.01.2021 sent the sports certificate of the VANDANA 2022.07.29 10:47 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

petitioner to Haryana Sports Karate Association for verification. The Haryana Sports Karate Association verified the sports certificate of the petitioner on 06.01.2021. The achievement of petitioner is covered under notification dated 25.05.2018. Thereafter the respondent No.4 issued Sports Gradation Certificate of Grade 'D' (Annexure P-10) to the petitioner on 25.01.2021 accordingly."

In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives for this Court to adjudicate.Writ petition is disposed of with an expectation that in terms of the stand taken in the reply, the department shall take further appropriate steps and accord the benefit of the sports gradation certificate to the petitioner.
