RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) On instructions from ASI Harmeet Chand, learned State counsel submits that the instant petition has rendered infructuous, in view of the fact that police is going to file final report under Section 173(2) Cr.P.C., against respondents No. 4 to 7, under Sections 148, 149 and 336 IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act, after deletion of Sections 307 and 452 IPC, on the basis of enquiry conducted by Superintendent of Police (Headquarters), Ferozepur, upon the application of the daughter of petitioner.
In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
The Police Department, through learned State counsel is directed to file final report positively, within one month from today.
