1. The present petition has been filed for direction be issued to respondent No.1 i.e. Secretary, Department of School Education, Punjab to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 08.02.2020 read with representation dated 10.07.2020.
2. Learned counsel submits that the chargesheet that was issued to the petitioner on 23.12.2019, which was filed and the case was closed vide order dated 21.12.2022. Thereafter, the retiral benefits were released subsequently between November, 2023 and January 2024, however, no interest thereon has been paid. He relies on the judgment passed by Full Bench of this Court in A.S. Randhawa vs. State of Punjab and Others, 1997 (3) SCT 468. In this regard, he will submit a comprehensive representation by relying on the judgment supporting his claim, which may be directed to be decided in a time bound manner. 3. Notice of motion.

In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents that in case petitioner submit a representation within a period of 4 weeks, the same shall be considered and decided, within a further period of 4 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to him and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to his interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioner shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon
