**** ANUPINDER SINGH GREWAL, J (ORAL) The petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No.32 dated 17.05.2016, under Section 22 of the NDPS Act, registered at Police Station Rawalpindi, Phagwara, District Kapurthala.

A Coordinate Bench of this Court, by the order dated 31.10.2018, had directed the petitioner to appear before the trial Court within a week and in the event of his doing so, he was ordered to be released on interim bail on his furnishing bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court. The petitioner did not appear before the trial Court in terms of the order of the Coordinate Bench and several other opportunities were given to the petitioner including those by the orders dated 04.07.2019 and 04.10.2019 but the petitioner has failed to appear before the trial Court.
