(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3, to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners, who apprehend threat to their life at the hands of private respondent No.4. 2.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer for issuance of directions to respondent No.2Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh, to look into the complaint/representation dated 27.03.2024 (Annexure P-5) of the petitioners and take appropriate steps in accordance with law. 3.
