HARI PAL VERMA J.
Prayer in the present petition is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.73 dated 22.10.2014 under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 IPC, registered at Police Station Old Shalley, District Gurdaspur.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 29.10.2014.
On the other hand, learned State counsel on instructions from AsI Sukhjinder Singh of Police Station Old Shalley states that in the case in hand, charges have been framed and no witness has been examined so far and as many as ten witnesses have been cited. Considering the fact that the trial will take long time as only the charges have yet been framed, the petitioner is admitted to regular bail subject to furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court.
The petition is disposed of.
