(Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to take final decision on the representations dated 18.10.2023 (Annexure P-9) and dated 11.03.2024 (Annexure P-10) filed by the petitioner and provide all the consequential benefits of the position of General Manager, considering eligibility and the vacancies available at the relevant point of time. Further prayer has been made to issue direction to the respondents to pay compensation for the financial and mental losses incurred due to the wrongful actions of the department.
