HARPREET SINGH BRAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the impugned order dated 23.02.2026 (Annexure P-6) vide which the petitioners were dismissed from service on account of false recovery of poppy-husk recovered from a bus. Further a writ of mandamus has been sought, directing the respondents No.2 and 3 to reinstate the petitioners in service along with all service benefits.

Learned counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh petition with better particulars.
